Accommodation

Accommodation is available on campus from £70 per night (including breakfast). There are plenty of hotels in Exeter itself, as well. The University of Exeter suggests the following hotels for our visitors:

4. Leonardo Hotels (formerly Jurys Inn)

5. Hotel du Vin

6. Hotel Indigo

7. Queens Court Hotel

In addition to the recommendations above a variety of other hotels and Airbnb options are available in the area. We encourage attendees to arrange their accommodations early, as our workshop coincides with other events in Exeter, which will reduce availability.

Travel

Train: Exeter has a regular train connection with London Paddington (Heathrow Express)

Airport: Exeter airport mainly serves tourist destinations but there are direct flights to/from Dublin all year round. Bristol airport (107 km ~ 66 miles away from Exeter) has a much wider network of international flights especially during summer.

Bus: Direct bus to and from Bristol Airport and London Heathrow.

Local Bus: University’s Streatham campus is served by Line 4 University stagecoach bus (every 10 - 15 mins).
